On Friday, November 21st, we will present a very special and unique concert featuring the Martin Wind Quartet performing music from his recording "Turn Out The Stars" along with the New Trier Chamber Orchestra. The concert will open with New Trier's Jazz Ensemble 1 featuring members of the Martin Wind Quartet.

Martin Wind arranged music written or inspired by the iconic jazz pianist Bill Evans for his jazz quartet (tenor sax, piano, bass, drums) and chamber orchestra. The work was originally performed by the Mr. Wind's quartet and the Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana.

Please join us for this unique intersection of jazz and western classical music featuring our New Trier students and the renowned jazz musicians in Martin Wind's quartet..
