This schedule is subject to change. Updates will be posted
regularly. ALL CLINICS, MASTERCLASSES AND 50 
CONCERTS DURING THE DAY ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! 
The evening concert requires a ticket. (FOR TICKETS)

8:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m.: "Jazz Breakfast" in the Student Cafeteria for everyone. 
(See menu and prices)

8:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.: LIVE TV/RADIO/INTERNET BROADCAST
of stage performances on cable television channel 18 to homes in 
Winnetka, Kenilworth, Glencoe; and channel 6 to homes in Wilmette; 
and in stereo on WNTH radio (88.1 FM). Worldwide Internet 
broadcast on ntjazz.com

8:30 a.m. : High School and Junior High School Jazz 
Ensembles begin performing free concerts in five concert 
locations in the school. (Gaffney Aud., McGee Theater, Student 
Cafeteria, Baumann Student Lounge, and 3rd floor rehearsal
rooms in the Music Building)

11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Lunch available in small student cafeteria for students. 
(See menu and prices.)

11:15 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
A complimentary lunch available in the Faculty Cafeteria
for directors only.

12:00 - 12:30 p.m.   Special Concert by the RYAN COHAN SEXTET  
This will take place in the auditorium and be broadcast live on TV,
radio, Internet.

12:40 - 1:20 p.m.: Special Interest Clinics


   1. "So you are thinking about being a music major
in college"

        Clinicians: NIC MEYER  
        Room- Under the main auditorium lobby  

    2. "Beginning Improvisation... what is the FIRST step" 
         (Do NOT bring instruments)
         Clinician: DAVE NESS  in the EPI CENTER
          (Main building-3rd floor)

    3. "Jazz Piano- For BEGINNERS"
         Clinician:  RYAN COHAN- Location M287 (In music building)

     4. "What It's Like To Be ON THE ROAD"
           Clinician: JOHN YAO: Location to be announced
            John is a New Trier graduate who, at the age of
            only 22,  toured for several years in the
            Glenn Miller Orchestra.

1:30 - 2:30 p.m.
SIGHT-READING BAND
in 2nd FLOOR ROTUNDA (main building) Open
to anyone DAVE FODOR (Evanston High School), sight-reading clinician

1:30- 2:15 p.m.: Special Interest Clinics

SEVERAL GUEST CLINICIANS WILL SIT IN DURING
THEIR CONCERT.


5:00 - 7:30 p.m. BANDS GO EAT. (See map of restaurants)

6:45 p.m.: Auditorium doors open. (Guest schools should be 
seated NO LATER than 7:15 p.m.)

7:30 - 10:00 p.m.: EVENING CONCERT

The entire evening concert will be BROADCAST LIVE on the Internet at www.ntjazz.com,

The New Trier Jazz Ensemble I portion of the evening concert 
will be broadcast on North Shore CABLE TV, and in stereo on 
WNTH Radio (FM 88.1) in addition to the Internet.
