Clinician: Dean Oldencott
Dean Oldencott is
from San Antonio, TX and performed with Joe Henderson and Ellis Marsalis
in New Orleans at the young age of 18. Recently, he was the drummer for
singer/songwriter Sally Taylor (daughter of James Taylor) during her 2002
US Tour. Oldencott is in demand as a DKO bandmember, freelance drummer,
private instructor, physical trainer and triathlete, which is why he has
spent most of his professional career near the Rocky Mountains of
Colorado. Oldencott’s fabulous playing is featured on the recent DKO
state-of-the-art recording “In The Now” as well as the upcoming 2007
CD release “DKO Electric Quartet”.
