Be advised that, as in the past, FINAL
TOTALS FOR EVENING CONCERT TICKET NUMBERS WILL BE EXPECTED
FROM YOU BY OCTOBER 15. You will soon
receive an email explaining more. Start now working on
exact numbers.
We have a Director's Correspondence
Page that shows any amounts you owe, the number
of tickets you have pre-ordered, and a LOT of important
details. It is updated everyday. Bookmark this page and
check it often. It is linked to the left side of the
jazzfest webpage.
NOTE: I have had to adjust the number of
reduced price tickets some of you ordered. As it says on
the application and in the "rules", only
performing students and chaperones can get a reduced price
ticket. All others must pay full price. Some of you will
see in your "ticket box" on the Director's
Correspondence Page the new numbers based on the
number of students you said on your entry form are in your
ensemble... plus no more than two chaperones. I have
assumed local groups might use as many as two
chaperones and groups probably staying in a motel need
four. If you need more chaperone tickets, let
me know. You also get a free director's ticket.
We will be using and making adjustments to
the ticket numbers on the Director's Correspondence
Page from now forward rather than your
original online application, which was probably done in
haste.
Again, final ticket totals (not
money) are due by OCT. 15,
so start working now on your totals. You can raise or
lower your ticket totals until that date, after Oct. 15,
you can only LOWER them. This allows me to know how many
tickets I can sell to Jazz Festival sponsors and
general public.

NOTE TO BANDS STAYING IN A MOTEL ON
FRIDAY and/or SATURDAY... Let
me know that you will be doing that. We have a
Marriott hotel in Northbrook
that is only a 20 minute drive from New Trier that gives a
GREAT reduced rate to our participating schools and
professional bands.
