Clinician: Mark Hiebert

Mark Hiebert hails from Tullahoma, Tennessee. After participating heavily in his high school band on saxophone, he decided to move to Chicago to get a music degree at DePaul University. Since he has been in Chicago, Mark has performed with groups like the Ken Arlen Orchestra, the Rob Parton Jazz Tech Big Band, Alan Gresik’s SwingShift Orchestra, Ryan Adamson’s Medium Ensemble, as well as several R&B and Soul bands. Mark has also shared the stage with Jazz great Phil Woods and rapper Malik Yusef in venues like the Green Mill, Navy Pier, Milwaukee Summerfest, and several others. Mark will graduate in June of 2010 with a Music Education degree from DePaul University.
