Our concert performance schedule
while in New Orleans

7 concerts in three days with 4 of them 
in the two of the largest jazz clubs in the French Quarter!!!

Performing with us in all but the last concert will be
JEFF COFFIN, saxophonist in the double Grammy winning group BELA FLECK and the FLECKTONES

MONDAY- March 24, 2008

1:00- 2:30 p.m.- Private (free) concert at Tipitina’s (French Quarter) with Jeff Coffin for 300 NOLA high school and elementary  band students. Distribution of prom dresses/tuxes.

7:00- 8:15 p.m. Concert open to the public (with Jeff Coffin) 
$5 cover charge to help pay for Tipitina’s  staff.

9:00- 10:15 p.m. Concert open to the public (with Jeff Coffin) $5 cover charge to help pay for Tipitina’s staff.
 

TUESDAY- March 25, 2008

7-9 a.m.- Live performance with Jeff Coffin on the morning news show on WWL-TV (CBS) in New Orleans.

8:15- 9:30 p.m.
Evening "Thank You Concert" at Camp Hope (St. Bernard, LA) with JEFF COFFIN for as many as 800 AmeriCorps or Habitat volunteers at CAMP  HOPE. THIS CONCERT IS NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

WEDNESDAY- March 26, 2008 

Noon- 12:45 p.m. Concert with JEFF COFFIN in Musicians’ Village on the street (with Jeff Coffin)  OPEN TO THE PUBLIC  This will feature the presentation of the check to NOLA HABITAT for $75,000.

8:30 p.m.-  9:30 p.m.- Public benefit concert to raise money for the Community Center of St. Bernard  $10 suggested donation
(Jeff Coffin will not be appearing in this concert.)

to help the student and professional musicians in
New Orleans reclaim their town.

You can help us help them by supporting in one of these three ways...

1. Purchase a special double CD set for only $20 (plus $2 for shipping) 
of great jazz music featuring 28 selections recorded with world famous jazz artists and our New Trier Jazz Ensemble
over the past 24 years of the 
Frank Mantooth Jazz Festival at New Trier High School.

Our primary fund-raiser was a
16-Hour Marathon/Telethon/Web-a-thon Concert for NOLA
that on Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1 with our
Fall Jazz Concert
and featured Jeff Coffin, saxophonist in 
Bela Fleck and the Flecktones
We raised $28,000 in that marathon toward our goal
of $75,000
